How to Troubleshoot & Replace Whirlpool AP6010190 / WP660533 8 Inch Large Surface Element

Ordered the 8" surface element. It was just a simply plug in. 

Ordered new surface burners. Was shipped super duper fast and quality part! Took 2 mins to replace! 

Replaced an 8" surface element and the receptacle for it. 

Purchased the parts, installed and working well. So easy to replace. Parts came in really fast too. 

We replaced the elements and drip pans. 

Replaced the Surface burner elements. 

I ordered a new burner on Monday morning and I had it by Tuesday evening even though the expected delivery date was on the weekend. It made fixing Thanksgiving dinner so much easier! 

I replaced both the receptacle and the element. Used wire cutter / stripper and heat gun (to melt heat shrink tubing provided) 

Ordered a new element from Appliance Parts Pros, but was somewhat skeptical because of the huge discount. Part arrived in a sealed bag labeled "Factory Certified Part". Plugged it in and all was perfect. Great help from customer service on the phone; great price; quick, easy fix. I'm delighted!
