How to Troubleshoot & Replace Whirlpool AP5983565 / EDR5RXD1 Refrigerator Water Filter

I ordered the water filter hoiusing a water filter and a water inlet tube and it was a great fit. 

REPLACED THE WATER FILTER. 

Compared online vendors in order to get the correct part, at a reasonable price, and in stock. AppliancePartsPros.com not only made ordering easy but to my surprise I received the filter the next day. So I am very pleased with this purchasing experience.

I replaced the old filter with the new one. 

Removed the old to verify. Searched and ordered a new Pre-Filter Connector, next to the inlet valve. I Installed the connector and checked for leaks. 

I replaced the Water Filter Housing and micro switches. 

It was more difficult to unscrew the old filter than I anticipated. I was worried there may be a water leak. After removing the filter and noting no leak the replacement went smoothly. 

Once I received the filter, I followed the instructions (paper and video).
