How to Troubleshoot & Replace Whirlpool AP3769371 / 285976 Front Load Washer Drum Baffle Kit

I figured the washer was done and I was going to have to fork out for a new one since it was tearing up my clothes. I watched the video on the appliance parts pros website and ordered the parts. I removed the top cover removed the rubber water tube. The hole exposed the screws. Took a mallet and hit each bumper to loosen. With hand pressure, installed new baffles in drum. Install 1 screw for each baffle. Replace rubber tube, then the cover. That's it. 44 bucks. I'm happy. 

Replace part 

I followed your instructions to use a rubber mallet to remove old baffles and slid the new ones on. I didn't put in the screws since the ones on my machine didn't have screws in them. 

Took about 30 minutes. Took 3 screws off & removed top. Removed top hose to putter drum. Rotated inner drum to align screw holes up with hole in outter drum & inserted screws as needed. Reversed process to button up the job & washed a load. 

Great, fast and baffle was upgraded design. 

Ordered the 3 pack of baffles to replace the two missing one's in my washer and to have a spare. Installation was fun and easy I just YouTube it in fact I learned to clean other parts in my washer and yes to remove the sock that was stuck . The shipping was freaky fast 2day arrival . One advise when you order the screws they also give you some shorter one in your package make sure the screws you install don't go through your new baffle like I did . Quickly learned what the shorter screws were for . Great company will do business with them again and again . Thanks 

We followed then online tutorial, first for the baffle. Since we received three baffles with the screws, we replaced all three. One of the old baffles was also broken, but had not come off, so we were glad that we did all three. Again, following the tutorial, we replaced the belt, finding it a much tighter fit the old one, so we were glad that we ordered a new one. In moving the washer, we found a filter that had never been cleaned out. The directions say it should be cleaned every six months, so that job is now on our calendar.. 

I watch your YouTube video and it was spot on. I did the repair in less than 30 minutes! I am a 50 year old lady. I love that you provided the video and the price for the parts was better than anywhere else. 

Easy to install replacement baffle. 

Installed a new baffle. Using video fix from this website. Sears wanted 70 dollars just to look at it. Each baffle from Sears was 30 dollars. I got 3 for 42 dollars including shipping.
