How to Troubleshoot & Replace Whirlpool AP3769371 / 285976 Front Load Washer Drum Baffle Kit

Searched & found part at APP.com. Video was the best! Easy fix. We cleaned hoses once back was opened. Washer worked like new! Baffle repair kit arrived quickly. 

It was easy to find and order the correct part, and I was amazed when it arrived less than 24 hours later in CA, even without expedited shipping. I watched your repair video and then replaced the baffle. Including watching the video, the whole process took about ten minutes (I did not pull the back panel off the washer since I knew I did not need the screws). Takes me longer to sort our laundry! I had no idea what the name of this part I was looking for and it turned out I really had no idea how to remove the existing part. So, not only did I find the name AND the best price for a replacement part, A.P.P. also had a YouTube video to show me EXACTLY how to remove and install these things. I am not an appliance repair guy, but this video made my work seem like I'd done this 100 times before. The video showed me things I would not have caught on my own. I specifically ordered from AppliancePartsPros.com because of their very informative repair videos. They were extremely helpful in knowing how to complete the detailed repair work and hints to avoid problems. 

1. Ordered the baffles and the screws separately ( because the baffle part description indicated it did not come with the screws but it apparently did). 2 Watched the video 3 Followed the instructions in the video

I ordered a baffle kit using the part number located inside one of the disconnected baffles. It led me to this retailer, who had the parts kit (3 baffles and screws) for a good price and reasonable shipping cost. I ordered and they shipped via FedEx (standard) the same day. The package arrived three days later (I am in Washington state). My husband installed the new baffles within a half hour. He had watched a YouTube video the day we ordered, so knew just how to put them in. Washer is back in service. Everyone is happy! Note that I had no luck finding the part with the washer model number (even from Sears Parts Direct) but found it easily by Goggleing the whole part number including the trailing 1. (461970220141). New part has a final 7 instead of a 1. The retailer's part number is 285976.

Watched a video online and it was from Appliance Parts Pros, so I ordered the parts from them and installed per videos instructions.
