Really easy. Lift out the cooktop. Unscrew 6 screws, lift off glass. Put on gasket under new glass, fit new glass with its attached frame back onto the cooktop, screw and put cooktop back in counter. Not connecting wires needed. Most difficult part was doing a nice caulking job once the cooktop was back in place.
