How to Troubleshoot & Replace Whirlpool AP4419835 / W10245216 Grill-Vent (Stl)

Ordered new part and screwed it on! 

There are two filters to replace on the microwave. One is acceded directly on the bottom of the microwave and the other is behind the vent grill that is held in place by a couple of screws. At the same time I replaced the vent grill as the plastic grill was breaking apart, most likely a manufacturer defect. 

Simply replaced the parts. Your web site had the exploded-parts diagram for my exact microwave model such that I was able to exactly identify the parts/part numbers I needed. The parts were ordered on a Wednesday morning and arrived at my house Friday afternoon (standard shipping). Removed two screws from microwave and placed replacement cover over bent and screwed the two screws back in. 

Took me awhile to figure our where I could get the grille vent 

Replaced it 

Replaced panel with new one. 

I simply took off the old stainless cover/panel for the filter and mounted the new one. 

A simple r&r, only two screws. 

Replace with new one
