How to Troubleshoot & Replace Whirlpool AP4419835 / W10245216 Grill-Vent (Stl)

The filters just slip in then out, and the top cover is just two Philips screws and I was done. The only concern was that the Whirlpool part was inter changeable with the Kitchenaid microwave part, but they have a part versification check that said it would fit and it did. Easy. 

Ordered replacement part. 

Replaced part 

Unscrewed two screwes off the old one and put the new one in. Done in 5min. 

I ordered a new Grill-vent and filters from ApplianceParts Pros and received them in just 3 days. I removed the two Phillips head screws from the uppers side of the vent and the old vent came right off with ease. While I had the grill off I replace the charcoal filter behind the grill and reinstalled the new grill-vent.

Got the part and screwed 2 pins and was done. 

Removed the old and installed the new one, two screws, that simple... 

I ordered the replacement part from your web site & felt reassured that I was ordering the right one by using the parts compatability feature on the site. The grill arrived very quickly (2 - 3 days). Since the old grill vent was already broken off the microwave, all I needed to do was remove the 2 screws that were securing the grill to the front of the microwave then line up the new part & attach with the 2 screws. I was surprised & pleased that it was so simple and easy to do.
