How to Troubleshoot & Replace Whirlpool AP6006547 / WP2206670B Dispenser Overflow Grille

Watched a video on the site for an idea how to proceed, grabbed my trusty screw driver, popped that baby out and inserted a new shiney drip tray! SO easy for a non-do-it-yourselfer. Parts arrived quickly, I might add! Saved me a hefty sum by not having to call an appliance "pro"! Thanks to Appliance Parts Pro! 

The door is a really easy fix just removing a few screws and finding a way to hold the door up while you do your work is all it takes! I use a can of green beans and some shims! Replacing the small plastic tray is super simple, Pop it out and pop the new one in! As to the door cams, I always keep a few on hand! We seem to wear a set out every year or so!

Purchased new grille. It was easy to replace. Shipping was so fast! 

Despite having a ten-year-old KitchenAid built-in was able to quickly find the correct part. It arrived in two days and fits perfectly. Problem solved. 

I replaced the lower door closer cam. It solved the problem.

I purchased an ice maker from them in Aug.2014 it went out last week I called them and they replace the part free of charge.. 

I noticed that a pin, spring, and piece of plastic had dropped out from within the ice dispensing mechanism on my door mount ice dispenser. After a couple Google searches and after watching a few videos from appliancespartspros.com I was confident that I could repair the problem. After dismantling the ice dispenser I found that the plastic piece that I had found had actually broken off from inside the dispenser where the pin and spring door control mechanism sat. Unfortunately that piece could not be replaced so I had to super glue it back into place. But once I did that I was able to restore the ice dispenser. The videos that are provided are super helpful and gave me the confidence to try and do the home repair on my own. 

Replaced the parts! My refrigerator, Maytag MSD2550, had broken shelf, crisper bin & ice bin. Just replaced them. I wasn't really sure that what I ordered was what was needed because the pictures are not really clear enough to tell for sure and the description of each item was in 'repairman' speak. But all is good and Appliance Parks Pros is now one of me favorites! Thanks so much!
