How to Troubleshoot & Replace Whirlpool AP6011273 / WP74011767 Oven Door Handle

I ordered the parts and followed the video for the element and the responses on the website to replace the handle. For 4 years I have not used that upper oven and now it is as good as new! The other bonus was that since you have to take the door apart I could clean the glass. I am shocked and amazed at how easy it was to do. Thank you for your great prices on parts and showing dummies like me how to make these repairs. BTW the model number on this Maytag Genesis range is on on a little metal flag thing behind the control panel. Just reach back there and flip it up. I think I will take the lower door apart and clean it now! 

Removed the upper oven door, removed all the frame screws all 4 sides, removed the outer frame pieces and glass. removed the old handle, 2 screws, installed the new handle, spent 10 minutes cleaning all 3 glass surfaces, put back pieces in reverse order, 

Ordered a replacement handle which arrived very quiclky. Change out was easy and fast, except I took the time to clean all the pieces and glass front before reassembling the door. 10 min to replace the handle, 30 min with the clean up. 

I found all the parts here at Appliance Parts Pro! Got them ordered and here in less than two days! Took a little time for figure out how the door glass, handle, and stuff worked....but by my third one I was able to do it by myself! 

Ordered part, which came fast, took the door apart and replaced the handle. 

I took apart the door and swapped out the handle.
