Richard E Granville , OH January 10, 2017 Appliance: Amana Electric Dryer ALE643RBW Loud noises from an old dryer I decided I could either buy new or rebuild my current Amana high capacity dryer. I took the machine apart and decided the motor, heating element and thermostats likely needed replaced. After doing the math, I felt it was worth the rebuild. Additionally, i chose to replace the belt, idler roller and drum support rollers. Glad I did! Scott S West Columbia , SC May 05, 2020 Appliance: Maytag Electric Dryer SDE305DAYW Dryer had no heat. My dryer would run but didn’t heat up. The problem was a bad hi-limit thermostat.
