Kyle W Lansing , MI February 19, 2017 Needed new burner heads & orifices In an attempt to clean the range from the grease-gunk build-up, I had to remove the burner heads. Unfortunately, the 2 most used burner heads had immovable screws that locked them into the orifices underneath. After numerous hours in attempts to salvage the old burner heads and orifices attempting to remove the immovable screws, I gave up. Checked Maytag's website for parts and found nothing. Turned to AppliancePartsPros.com and found the correct parts for reasonable price in a matter of minutes. Good to know that there are places like this out there in case I ever get into a mess like this again... James M Brooklyn , WI November 23, 2015 Appliance: Jenn-Air Freestanding-Double Oven-Dual Fuel JDR8895AAS I needed to convert my jenn air stove top range back to natural gas from lp and the orifices were not available by themselves so i needed to order new orifice holders that included the ng orifices I had to drill out the screws that hold down the burner plates which also mount to the orifice holders because all of the screws had rusted tight and could not be loosened. The drilling out part was fairly easy and once I had removed the burner plates, I could easily lift the stove top off and get access to the orifice holders to replace all of them. I purchased new stainless steel self-threading screws from our local hardware store and re-assembled the new orifice holders and existing burner plates. I was very careful in drilling out the screws and did not damage any of the burner plates. Lastly, I had to access the gas regulator in the back of the oven to remove the plug and flip over the plug to switch the regulator to NG. The burners all work very well and I saved myself $250-300 in labor quoted by a contractor. The contractor was also going to charge me about $60 more for the orifice holders than I paid for the parts from Appliance Parts.com Read More... 7 People found this story helpful Do-It-Yourself Rating: Repair Time Estimate: 1-2 hours Tools: Adjustable Wrench, Pliers, Screwdrivers, Wrench Set
Laura C Beaver Falls , PA May 09, 2017 Appliance: Model MAYTAG GEMINI Small fire due to spill. I replaced the Igniter switch, two control valves and one holder/orifice (because I couldn't get the screws out and decided to just replace it rather than re-tape it and get new screws). The one thing I forgot was I have propane and the orifice was for natural gas. Fortunately, I was able to swap out the orifice from the old holder. Melvin H Hillsboro , NH September 02, 2018 Appliance: Maytag 30" Free Standing Duel Fuel Convection JDR8895BAS13 Aging Jennair dual fuel range with two ovens We've had this range for several years and love the gas cook top with dual electric ovens with convection bake. I've looked and could not get another like it for an affordable price. Some of the burners stopped lighting from the igniter and an oven element was sagging. The diagrams and associated parts list made it easy to locate the correct parts. Delivery was faster thank I expected. I had the repairs done and the range back to 100% before my wife had a chance to roll her eyes. I documented all my notes, parts, model numbers, etc. With confidence that I can manage future repairs, I look forward to keeping this range in service for years to come. Thomas D Galloway , NJ April 25, 2020 Appliance: Jenn-Air Freestanding-Double Oven-Dual Fuel JDR8895AAS One burner would not light or adjust when lit manually. Replaced holder /orifice. The only problem with this fix was all of the screws holding the burners in place were rusted and had to be drilled to access the part to replace. So I had to replace all 5 of the Holder/orifice. Relatively easy fix. Read More... Do-It-Yourself Rating: Repair Time Estimate: 1-2 hours Tools: Screwdrivers, Wrench Set

Deborah W Elkton , MD February 12, 2018 Appliance: Model MAYTAG GLASS TOP GAS Burnt igniter switch Parts came quickly and repair was simple and successful. I had a repair person come to the house who charged $150 just to walk in and tell me that it would be not be fixable due to cost. Apparently most of the cost would have been labor because with the parts and putting it back together ourselves the total was about $160. Read More...
