This orifice holder routes gas from the surface burner valve to the burner head. Sized for a 12K burner, it restores proper gas flow and reliable ignition when the original holder is damaged, clogged, or misaligned.

  • Positions the orifice and channels gas to the burner head on a 12,000-BTU burner
  • Maintains correct gas flow for a steady, consistent flame
  • Common symptoms: burner won't ignite though the igniter sparks, weak/uneven flame, or stripped/damaged threads at the holder
  • Match the 12K rating to the correct burner location per your model's parts diagram
What's included: 1 orifice holder for a 12K burner Install notes:
  • Disconnect power and shut off gas supply before servicing
  • Remove grates and burner parts; lift the cooktop as needed to access the holder
  • Transfer any brackets/gaskets from the original and install squarely; do not overtighten fittings
  • Restore gas and check all connections with a non-corrosive leak-detection solution; verify ignition and flame quality

Papi, Yes, the size of the opening in the orifice are different. The LP orifices have larger openings, and the size of the opening is "stamped" on the side of the orifice in millimeters (MM). If the range is new, or hasn't been converted to LP gas previously the original orifices should be the smaller NAt gas orifices. the range is shipped for Nat gas from the factory.
