Advice: watch the videos first. They are indispensable.
It was Friday, and the spouse was anxious about her leaking washer. Without first investigating the leak, I ordered the most probable parts causing the leak. All parts arrived late Monday: the direct drive drain pump, the two drain pump hoses, and the washer tub rubber gasket. Tuesday I replaced all but the tub gasket. The leak persisted; tracked it to the "vacuum break hose", or the hose from the water inlet valve that fills the tub with water. The original hose was very flimsy/thin walled but the replacement is beefy and will last forever. The most difficult part about the whole repair was getting the cabinet back on the washer frame.
What I should have done FIRST is watched the repair videos. I didn't know how easy it is to get the machine apart to investigate the leak. Had I done this the first day I would have saved a little bit of time and money. But no regrets really. Great service for the DIYer from APP! Thanks!!
