How to Troubleshoot & Replace Whirlpool AP6008080 / WP3357328 Vacuum Break Inlet Hose

Order a new hose and install it 

Replaced with new valve and hose. 

New inlet hose, curved piece at end of drain hose, and plastic tube connected to small, medium, or large load control. Had to order 2nd inlet hose when the rats avoided the poison and went for the rubber again, but that hose came faster than the first; in about 24 hours. I think we got the rats now, but Tabasco Sauce on the hoses may help also. 

Replaced inlet hose and vacuum break. Parts came in 1.5 days. 

In my haste to tear into the 'project' I could have avoided lots of time and energy if I had found the video in advance of my fumbling !!! After watching and ordering and in less than 2 days received the needed part, it was a breeze. It actually took less time for me to replace the part than the video. AND I had no parts left over. Having the video was all the more reason to shop @ appliance parts pros and I will do so in the future. These guys really get it....... Thank you for you great service. The washer is back in business and I needn't tell you how happy the wife is !!!!! 

Thanks to your great videos, I was able to replace the Water Inlet Valve and Hose in a matter of minutes. I did need the adapter plate provided, it fit perfectly. Works like a charm. 

I ordered and replaced the vacuum break inlet hose, the vacuum break, and the water inlet value. I watched the Appliance Parts Pros video and made the repair in less than 30 minutes. Leak from vacuum break stopped. 

Found the problem was the vacuum break inlet hose. It is a Sears Kenmore and when I called Sears they said they did not stock the part and could order it. I looked online a AppliancePartsPros.com had what I needed and could delivery in a few days. Great! Ordered the part on a Saturday and by the following Wednesday, I was washing clothes again. Thanks!
