How to Troubleshoot & Replace Whirlpool AP6888222 / W11366227 Hose

I think the door bellow fixed the problem. It took maybe 2 hr. The video was a life saver. My Maytag control panel was a little different and I had to find another video to find out how to remove it. 

I replaced the dispenser to tub hose. Easy repair that took about 15 minutes. 

Thanks to the repair videos, I was able to pull it apart and find the issue. Since I had most of the washer torn apart I decided to go ahead and replace the door seal and one of the shock absorbers. Great prices and Great videos! Will definitely recommend this site to everyone! Thank you for helping me! 

Removed top panel and reservoir then removed door. Was able to drop door down enough to replace the hose. 

Replaced the hose. 

On line order for part and fixed myself. 

I replaced it with a new part, it went very well 

The drain hose from the laundry detergent and fabric softener compartment had cracked causing the detergent and fabric softener to leak as soon as the washer was started. Swapping hoses was pretty easy, similar to replacing a radiator hose in a car. I did have to loosing the door section so it can lean forward in order to reach inside where the hose was. Should be a two person job, one to hold the door and one to swap the hose (unless you completely remove the door then a one person job). Not sure how much a repairman would have charged me but glad I didn't need to find out. The part within two to three days so I didn't need to go without a washer for too long. Thanks Appliance Parts Pros, your parts inventory and "how to" tutorials made me decide to do the job myself. 

I thought at first it was the bellow gasket, so I removed the old one, cleaned it very well, inspected it for cracks, tears, etc. It had some mold around the drain holes, so I cleaned it as best as possible. I didn't see any tears or cracks, it was in pretty good shape. I ran the machine again, and it still leaked. I replaced the bellow gasket with a new one, and the machine still leaked. I took it apart immediately after the cycle so I could see where the water was coming from. After inspection, I found the hose from the soap dispenser was not in great shape. I replaced the hose, and now the washer doesn't leak anymore. Wish I had replaced the hose first, as it was substantially less expensive than the bellows gasket, and a lot less work to replace. 

Watched U Tube video and it described step by step the repair..Appliance pros showed a different part number but one of the links on their web paged allowed me to cross reference it and they were the same.
