I followed the on-line video, except for the electrical connection -- it was quite different, but pretty obvious how to get the power cord detached in order to remove the back cover.
As someone else noted, the hardest part was moving the dryer away from the wall...and back again! I'd say the only "tricky" part was getting the back cover realigned when putting it back on.
The replacement pulley was slightly narrower than the original part, and the side ridges a little taller, but all the essential diameters appeared to be the same, so I used it.
And....now I have a quiet dryer again! Thank you!!
