How to Troubleshoot & Replace Whirlpool AP6011218 / WP74010839 Burner Control Knob

The replacement part I ordered for my Jenn air cooktop was an exact match. It was easy to change out. I also ordered new knobs. In retrospect, I wish I had also ordered two more new pieces that go on the top. If I had, it would have looked like a brand-new unit.
