How to Troubleshoot & Replace Whirlpool AP6012363 / WP8273103 Control Knob

Order correct part and popped it on 

Tried Home Depot since everyone says they have everything! They had cheap knobs available and not the ones for my stove. Just jumped online and found your website. Quickly searched by the item number inside of my broker knob. Was shocked the replacement part popped up. The price was unbelievable! Super reasonable. About 5 years ago my mother in law was watching our home while we were on vacation. She used our gas stove and was unaware that the knobs needed to be pushed in before they could be turned.
