How to Troubleshoot & Replace Whirlpool AP6832601 / W11307244 Lid Lock Assembly

I replaced lid switch, worked good after installing a lid switch. 

The lid lock was not engaging. Found out it was broke 

We ran the error codes for the washer and came up with the parts we needed. It took approximately an hour to replace these parts. The washer works just like day one. I recommend doing this yourself if you like saving a couple of hundred dollars. 

Replaced with your new switch. 

R&R lid lock. Ordering was easy, parts came on time. Installed and now she is happy.

Found exactly the same part I needed. Ordered on Tuesday night and Thursday evening I was able to get the washer working. Thanks for the great service 

I don't know... :) I fought with it for about a week having to hold it in with a finger to get the machine to drain and spin. I received new switch past weekend and before I had a chance to replace it the washer decided it was going to cooperate and work as it should. So it's just a waiting game till it acts up again.
