David B Medford , MA February 20, 2026 Appliance: Model W10682535 When starting the wash cycle the lid lock light on the front panel would blink 10 times and the wash cycle wouldn’t proceed I found that the locking mechanism was loose, not properly lining up in the hole and had either broken off or had detached from the machine cover clip. I removed the lid lock assembly based on the video instructions and confirmed that the plastic holding the lock mechanism to the machine cover clip had broken off.
