How to Troubleshoot & Replace Whirlpool AP6008560 / WP3406105 Dryer Door Switch Assembly

Used appliance parts pros to diagnose the most likely source of the problem, a broken door switch. Watched one of your helpful YouTube videos for how to open up the dryer to get at the switch, then ordered the replacement part. It came in a timely manner and I was able to easily make the fix. All is now well with my dryer! Thank you! 

Put a new door switch in. 

Swapped out the faulty dryer switch for the new one that was delivered. Used in tandem with their youtube channel showing a quick step-by-step on how to conduct the repairs. Perfect service, will use again. 

After reading solutions and watching the attached tube guide. I replaced the door switch. Now everything works, including the light inside the dryer! 

The little lever to the door switch had snapped. Used a mini pry bar and screwdriver to open the top panel of the dryer. Only had to loosen two screws and swap the plug connector to have the new switch installed. 

Watched the video from your website to replace the Door Switch. The video was perfect. It was a simple repair but the video showed things that I otherwise would not have known. 

Looked on the internet to see what I needed. I then found the part and ordered. 

We replaced the dryer start switch and door switch.
