Replaced the lid switch 

I followed the video and read the instructions that came with the part. I replaced the part with ease. Thanks again for the video on your website. Last but certainly not least not enough can be said about the professional advice in solving the problem given by your staff. 

We change all parts ordered. Everything fit exactly, and the machine work like new. 

I suspected the lid switch so upon examination I saw that the body of the switch was coming apart. To test the theory, I spliced the wires together to fake out the machine into thinking the lid was closed. Drain and spin cycles worked. I've bought from AppliancePartsPros before and you get a very quick turn around time because they drop ship from the nearest warehouse which is Jacksonville Fl for me. Got it in 2 business days. Identifying the part number you want is easy. Just plug in your model # and enlarge the diagrams, find what your looking for and order it. I like the how-to video especially for the visual on what you have to remove just to get to the part you want to replace, showing the hidden screws or where to pop off a clip. Unfortunately for me, the old machine was too rusted to let me follow all the steps in sequence, but at least I had a clue. I see no reason to use any other website for my appliance needs, it's all there and prices are competitive.

I replaced the lid switch assembly. Although I didn't follow exactly how the video outlined doing the repair, the video was nevertheless very helpful. I would point out that it covered even the most minor steps---like prying open the retaining clips for the wiring harness, which was useful, and informative.I am really happy I could do it!! 

I ordered the lid switch assembly. The entire repair took about 15 minutes. Our old washer is has been a good one and I am not ready to give her up for a more expensive, lesser quality machine.
