I suspected the lid switch so upon examination I saw that the body of the switch was coming apart.
To test the theory, I spliced the wires together to fake out the machine into thinking the lid was closed. Drain and spin cycles worked. I've bought from AppliancePartsPros before and you get a very quick turn around time because they drop ship from the nearest warehouse which is Jacksonville Fl for me. Got it in 2 business days. Identifying the part number you want is easy. Just plug in your model # and enlarge the diagrams, find what your looking for and order it. I like the how-to video especially for the visual on what you have to remove just to get to the part you want to replace, showing the hidden screws or where to pop off a clip. Unfortunately for me, the old machine was too rusted to let me follow all the steps in sequence, but at least I had a clue.
I see no reason to use any other website for my appliance needs, it's all there and prices are competitive.
