How to Troubleshoot & Replace Whirlpool AP6015117 / WPW10112972 Drum Baffle (Lifter)

Straightened the tangs that retain the baffle, installed new baffle and slid it to lock in place. 

New baffles snapped into place 

Easy replacement part ordered and repaired. 

It was really easy they just slid right in. 

After watching a short video on the subject I dove in. It is a pretty straight forward repair. Was done in a little over an hour. 

Watched YouTube , ordered part , 5 minute job. Easy job ! 

I was originally going to have Maytag come and fix this but after finding out what their price was for repair, I looked online for the part myself to see if I could do it on my own. Originally I had no idea how I was going to get this part out of the washer but after watching the great videos on the Appliancepartspros.com website, I felt confident I could easily do it myself. I should have watched the video first. I used the needle nose pliers to straighten out the metal tabs that were bent, lined up the new part and it slid into place. Thank you.
