How to Troubleshoot & Replace Whirlpool AP6008637 / WP349639 Lint Screen

Looked up model and serial numbers and ordered the new filter screen. Perfect fit. Excellent replacement. Should have done so a few years ago. 

I ordered it from you guys and slid it on top of the dryer and it works perfectly. 

Ordered a new one from AppliancePartsPros.com. It came the next day and put the part in and the dryer is functioning well.

The repair kit fixes the problem, second time I needed this kit in 25+ years of ownership. EASY and fast repair! You could hear the motor spin rapidly but the tumbler would not spin. While its apart took time to thoroughly clean everything and lubricate the motor a little. 

I checked the measurements of my torn lint filter. Then looked up my dryer on the web using the model number. I found a match and ordered the part. It was a perfect fit. 

Replaced with a new lint screen. 

The new lint filter is excellent. 

Bought a new one from you! 

It was a simple swap job. Just pull the old lint screen out and drop the new one in. It fit perfectly just like the old one.
