How to Troubleshoot & Replace Whirlpool AP6008637 / WP349639 Lint Screen

After having watched the video on AppliancePartsPros.com I was able to replace the timer with no problem. It only took 15-20 minutes to complete the job. 

We were able to purchase the replacement part from you even though our dryer is old. It easily slipped right into place and is a big improvement to our appliance. 

Purchased new lint screen.

After some Google work, found this business, and typed in my model number- and found the proper part on the handy exploded view. I repaired appliances professionally for a while, and very much prefer using this method! Many other sellers offered similar parts, but only said "fits many Whirlpool Dryers" .......and several of them were definitely wrong parts. An easy replacement with the correct part! 

There was not a problem with the dryer, I just wanted to replace the lint screen as it was worn out. 

I pulled out the broken one, threw it away and replaced with new lint screen. 

Put a new lint screen in dryer. 

Slid the new one in. Fit perfectly 

Replaced old screen with new screen. Not too difficult a job. My daughter did it!
