How to Troubleshoot & Replace Whirlpool AP3138838 / 285811 Medium Cam Agitator Repair Kit

I ordered the part I needed which was the Cam Agitator Repair Kit-shipping was right on schedule and tada with the video you have- made it so easy on how to-totally understandable step by step. GREAT VIDEO-It was so GREAT a lady can do it! 

The Agitator Repair Kit came with all parts needed and the video provided, helped with the installation. 

Purchased a full cam and dog assembly repair kit from AppliancePartsPros.com. Shopped around for this specific Whirlpool replacement part and found cost + shipping was the lowest at this site. The repair took about 15 minutes total and was successful at fixing the problem. Note that the lower agitator was spinning properly - the dogs which grip the splines on the cam assembly were all worn out and no longer keeping the upper column locked with the lower agitator body causing it to spin freely. This part will correct that issue. 

IT ONLY TOOK A FEW MINUTES TO REPLACE THE REPAIR KIT. I WATCHED THE A VERY INFORMATIVE VIDEO. THANKS FOR THE GREAT SERVICE. 

We replaced the Clutch Assembly and the Agitator Repair Kit. 

I replaced the clutch assembly and agitator cams by following the very well made youtube videos created by AppliancePartsPro.com 

I replaced the Agitator Dogs and the Motor Drive Coupling that mates the motor to the gear box. 

We purchased a Medium Agitator Cam Kit and a new Agitator Bolt. Reassembled as per video. Very fast shipping. The repair took less than 15 minutes. What I initially thought was a disaster turned out to be a piece of cake.
