How to Troubleshoot & Replace Whirlpool AP3138838 / 285811 Medium Cam Agitator Repair Kit

I watched the video first then I did the repair 

Replacement kit with new dogs.. 

The top part of the agitator on our twenty year old Kitchen Aid KAWS700GQ stopped agitating. We watched the the video about the agitator dogs and then took the agitator apart. We found the agitator dogs were broken. The agitator dog video mentions the agitator repair kit which includes fast wearing parts. We ordered the agitator repair kit and an additional set of agitator dogs. After the parts arrived, we watched the Medium Cam Agitator Kit video again and then followed the steps in the video. The video indicates instructions are sent with the kit, however, we did not receive instructions, but the video clearly shows how to install the new parts. The only tool needed was a 7/16 inch socket with long extension. 

I knew what the problem was, since the agitator dogs have worn out before. I watched your video, ordered the parts and installed them the same day that I received them. Back in business! 

Searched the problem on A.P.P. as I have for several other appliances and trusted their statistically likely cause; ordered parts, watched the video and job was just as they predicted. No surprises. Completely satisfied, as I have been with all my appliance repair jobs. 

Ordered the repair kit on line and despite being in Texas - the part was here the very next day. It was exactly what we needed. The video link that came with the e-mail was absolutely a must - it made taking apart, putting in the parts and putting it back together easy. It was very step by step and we were able to pause it or replay parts needed. We are thrilled not to have to pay a big repair bill for something it turned out we were capable of doing. Ordered Medium Cam Agitator Repair Kit and read the instructions and installed it. Thanks for the helpful person on the phone and the video on YouTube that he told me to go to. It was easy. Saved me from having to buy a new washer. 

I ORDERED THE KIT AND WATCHED THE VIDEO THAT WAS ATTACHED TO THE EMAIL. VERY SIMPLE AND SAVED US FROM HAVING TO BUY A NEW WASHER.
