How to Troubleshoot & Replace Whirlpool AP6024038 / WPW10757217 Dishwasher Circulation Pump Motor

Your expert told me it was most likely the circulation pump motor, so I ordered it and it arrived in 2 days. I installed it per your instructional video, and it was an easy job (thanks to the video.) The dishwasher worked perfectly with the new motor! You folks saved me at least a couple of hundred dollars in repairman labor costs, etc. Thanks again! 

Replaced the circulation motor 

I replaced the circulation pump with a new one, since the bearings on the old one were worn out. The only snag I ran into was that some water leaked out when I laid the dishwasher down on the door. That let some water into the door panel, so I had to take that off and dry some insulation. 

Accessed Appliance Parts repair video through the website. The video provided explicit instructions on how to handle the removal of the old pump and installation of the new one. The repair was fairly easy once the dishwasher was removed from under the counter-top. 

I followed the simple steps outlined in the how to video on the web site. It took about ten minutes to replace the pump. This saved me a lot of money. Thanks! 

I removed the dishwasher from the cabinet and turned it upside down. I replaced the pump with the one that you sent me. The repair video was helpful, except that they showed the pump lined up upside down. The line up tab needed to be at the 6 o'clock position instead of 12. 

I went on the internet and decided that the circulation motor was bad. The ApplianceParts how to video was quite helpful! So I thought I'd give it a try. Repair was straightforward, and IT FIXED THE PROBLEM!
