How to Troubleshoot & Replace Whirlpool AP6021861 / WPW10466420 Turntable Motor

Replaced motor, spacer, turntable ring 

Replaced motor 

Before beginning repair, unplug microwave to disconnect power. MOTOR 1. Unscrew 12 phillips screws on underside of microwave and remove the panel. 2. Take a photo of the motor and the wires attached to it. 3. Disconnect the two female wire connectors from the motor. 4. Unscrew 2 T20 screws on the motor and remove it. 5. Place new motor into position and attach it with the 2 T20 screws. 6. Using the reference photo, re-attach the female wire connectors 7. Replace the lower panel and attach it with the 12 phillips screws. LIGHT BULB 1. Unscrew single phillips screw and remove the glass bulb shield. 2. Use fingers to unscrew the bulb from its socket. 3. Screw new bulb into the socket 4. Replace glass bulb shield and attach with single phillips screw When finished, plug microwave in and test. 

While checking light bulb, discovered turn table would not work. Ordered both bulb and turn table motor, both received in timely manner. Replaced both and microwave works like new! Very satisfied with Appliance Parts Service.

Ordered the replacement turn motor and installed. 

Watched a YouTube video about changing microwave turntable, ordered the part from appliancepartspros.com, which arrived in only one day. I replaced the motor and now the microwave is quiet again. Thanks for great service.
