Watched Youtube for tips. Hardest part was removing the pin which holds beater part on the mixer. You have to beat it out and, since it is pressed in at the factory, you do have to hit it pretty hard a few times to make it unseat, but it does come out. Once you get it out, putting it back in after the repair is pretty easy, but you have to tap it back in with a small hammer. Youtube was incorrect on instructions for removing harness at extreme rear of motor. Video shows a release you press on outside of the coupling. My mixer, the coupling is actually inside the coupling. Look rear close, you'll see the release against the wire going into the top of the coupling. Ride a small screwdriver down the wire and it will push the release to the side, allowing you to pull out the wires. Check the wires for any damage, since the insulation may have been damaged when the fan broke apart.
