I have a Maytag Bravos washer that is 9 years old. The washer was very noisy as some described "sounded like an airplane taking off". The washer also began to leak. I replaced the bearings & seals in about an hour or two. The Appliance Parts Pros videos were very helpful. After this initial repair, the washer ran very quietly that I had to check to make sure it was still running. Later on, I began to get Unbalanced Load "uL" errors even when the washer was run empty at Rinse & Spin. Searching the internet, the most likely problem was reported to be the Rotor Positioning Sensor. (RPS) I replaced the RPS and no more "uL" problems. I originally paid nearly $800 for this washer. All of this repair work cost about $150 even with having to purchase the assembly tool to install the bearings. The washer runs like new.
