Our Whirlpool Gold (model GS460LEKB) oven was lighting inconsistently. The gas was clearly coming on; you'd hear multiple sparks from the igniter, then it would give up (there's an automatic shutoff). If left on, it would ultimately light, but it might have been 20 minutes or longer -- if we didn't just give up on it. Burners worked fine; not sure about the broiler as we didn't use it.
The problem, based on what I read on these helpful pages, could have been wit the spark module, but because I was hearing sparks, I figured the signal from the module must be coming in. There was gas flowing, so that valve wasn't the issue. Arrived at the spark igniter through a process of elimination. It arrived very quickly, and the AppliancePartsPros video was a big help in doing a quick fix (15 min at a slow pace). Problem solved.
