How to Troubleshoot & Replace Whirlpool AP5985062 / W10811169 Panel-Cntl (Stl)

I took a little extra time and took apart more to clean but otherwise the repair was fairly easygoing. 

Replaced with new touch pad control panel. Ordered part and rec'd part next day. 

Got this new display panel and it resolved. 

I read reviews and ordered the part. One person had the same exact Maytag dishwasher and went through the steps which made it easy to install the new control panel, It helped knowing to unclip the latch part off of the old control panel. I will definitely be using Appliance Parts Pros again.

I ran a diagnostic mode on device, in order to start diagnostic mode you had to press any 3 buttons in a row within a second. The buttons that where not working did not start diagnostic. When it did start the led test was first , the problem button led lights did not light. The keypad had failed I ordered a replacement keypad, I had ordered a part years ago, appparts had my old address in there system, and sent my part to the wrong address....make sure you check the email they send to make sure they don't change your order to the wrong address 

Replaced the control panel. 

Ordered a new control panel through Appliance Parts Pros, which was delivered the next day, and boom - fixed the problem! Thanks a bunch!!!!
