How to Troubleshoot & Replace Whirlpool AP5962285 / W10782773 Pump And Motor Assembly

Called Appliance Parts Pro, they gave me the information and part numbers recommended. I watched their video on replacing the pump and motor assembly, and the rest was a breeze! I had called one afternoon for the parts prior too this installation and received them the next day! That was FAST shipping! My wife came home and seen the box and asked when I would get around to fixing the washer, I told her it was done. She was beside herself. Thanks Appliance Parts Pros! 

Following the Appliancepartspro video , removed the pump and motor and replaced it , It works fine and fixed the issue. Be careful when cleaning the edge of the tub, the edges are sharp! 

Replaced entire motor/pump assembly 

We ordered a new motor, installed it and we should get another 12 years. Thank heavens parts are available. This saved us purchasinging new dishwasher. 

They did not sell the part and i would have had to take the full thing apart to get at the coupling .it was better to buy the full unite.now it runs just like the day i bought the dishwasher.very easy to repair but you well need to people to push the unite in place.
