How to Troubleshoot & Replace Whirlpool AP6019603 / WPW10326469 Center Rail

Ordered the parts from Appliance Parts Pros and was able to replace all parts and fix my problem in less that an hour. 

Replaced the support rail. Very easy fix no tools required. My only regret is that I waited so long to fix it. 

I watched the videos on their website to see how to install them. 

I searched the web for the replacement part and installed it. No sweat! 

Looked on your (fabulous) website, found the part, we ordered and installed it easily when it arrived. 

I received a beautiful stainless steel, French door refrigerator with the freezer at the bottom, as a gift. It was used but still in great shape. I discovered the cross bar was missing. After checking around to see if I could get one locally I finally went on the internet. Here is where I found Appliance Parts Pros. The first time I looked it was out of stock, but once restrictions were lifted and businesses reopened they had it. So I ordered it on a Monday and received it on a Thursday. Waited til the weekend to put in and IT FIT!! I’m so pleased with my purchase and I will be ordering more from APP in the near future. 

Removed the broken center rail, ordered a new one, and re-installed center rail. 

The new bracket was simple to install. No tools required and the part was an exact fit! 

Purchased a new center rail and pantry drawer door. They fit perfectly and the fridge looks new again! 

Simple Remove and Replace. For the Endcap (right side with the temperature control) the only tricky part was removing the sliding temperature control arm & reattaching to the rear housing. The arm and the sliding Temp Control Knob are not included with the Endcap so you'll need to re-use or order new ones. The Endcap is connected to the housing at a 90 degree angle at the rear of the unit. To detach, squeeze the housing on the rear vertically to free the Endcap. You can then twist the joint where the Endcap arm meets the rear arm to release the tab. For the Center Rail it's a simple drop-in. Remove the crisper drawers and the glass shelf above them. It's easiest to remove the shelving Frame next (lift at the front to release from side pins then pull straight out). Once the shelving Frame is out you can flex the rear to release the Center Rail and it drops right in. Easy-peasy, and thanks to Appliance Parts Pro for saving me so much money over the years with parts and helpful video instructions.
