How to Troubleshoot & Replace Whirlpool AP5956376 / W10752187 Screw

Drilled out and removed snapped bolt with screw extractor , replaced agitator and bolt. 

Needed to replace the gears, unfortunately broke the stator in the process. Ordered a couple more parts and was able to successfully repair the washer. Working like the day we bought it

Initially I bought just the plastic hub bearing for the tub thinking it would solve the problem. Upon further inspection, I could see the input shaft on the trans was missing many teeth. Part came quickly and took a few hours to change out. I found a video from the company doing my exact repair on my exact washer. I took my time and my washer is like new again! 

Replaced all parts from agitator thru the clutches below and drum drive plate. back online. Running well Thank you for fast shipment 

Replaced shocks to fix out of balance. Replaced Drive Hub but agitator was not engaging. Ordered Shift Actuator and replaced it to fix agitator spin. The Shift Actuator had broken inside the actuator (could not see that until after I removed the part and inspected it). 

The splutch turned out to not be the problem but it was easy to install. The only problem that I have is that the 13 mm nut keeps coming loose. I have added some loctite and I hope that fixes it. It could be something that I am doing wrong, but other than tightening it up, I can't imagine what I am doing wrong. The ultimate fix for my problem was the washer basket hub kit. I was pleased with the price and the quality seemed identical to the original parts. Replacing the belt was a bit of a struggle because a new belt is very tight. I really appreciated the clear repair videos. It was very clear and easy to understand and gave me the confidence to do it. 

Because the screw to the wash plate would not come off, and in the interim, damaged the gear case, we ordered the wash plate, screw, gear case, nut and nut spanner tool to be ready for the repairmen to come and remove the tub to look for the ring. The repairmen were very impressed that I had all of the items needed to replace after the tub was pulled out. They found the ring, put everything back together again and the washing machine works great. I asked a lot of questions to your pros and they instantly responded to my needs. 1 . I ran the washer to see what was wrong with it . 2 Unplugged the washer from 120 Volt Plug. 3 Removed softer dispenser by pulling up 4. Removed the bolt holding the agitator. 5 . Pulled out agitator. 6 Removed all screens Holding drive hub and clip. 7 . Replaced and put everything back .8 Ran a test run. 9 . Also replaced the shift actuator.
