William D Windsor , CA January 19, 2015 Appliance: Maytag Electric Dryer MDE7500AYW Maytag dryer broken duct assembly outlet Disconnected dryer power cord; Removed 2 front door screws and 2 screws on opposite side; removed door and front dryer panel; removed 2 screws holding top dryer panel and lifted top; took pictures of 5 wire connections prior to disconnecting them; removed front tumbler panel and removed Duct Assembly Outlet. Vacuumed lent from dryer and cleaned and vacuumed out blower assembly. Installed new blower seal on new duct assembly and installed combined assembly. Reassembled dryer, reconnected dryer power cord, installed new dryer lint filter, and preformed test run. Steven T Fulton , SD December 20, 2014 Appliance: Maytag Gas Dryer MGD3000BW0 The motor was burnt out I was not sure I could do the repair myself and was ready to buy a new dryer. But then I watched the video and saw easy it actually was to replace the motor so I went ahead and ordered the parts. The parts came in two days as promised, I replaced the motor, the belt and a ripper gasket. The dryer works better now than when we bought it used over ten years ago. My wife is pretty happy.
