How to Troubleshoot & Replace Whirlpool AP6014445 / WP99002588 Dishwasher Door Seal

After talking with the rep from appliance pro, she helped me verify wat I needed, everything came as we discussed. After removing the inner door the vent assembly was difficult removing, it does unplug, do not twist it off, had to replace that piece as well. Had to cut of notch on inner door for the vent assembly to reseat properly. It does twist off, just a bear to put back on. once all assembled turned the machine on and no more leaks. Saved a bundle from calling the appliance repair guy. 

Had to remove the inside door cover and seal. As always appliance parts pros had what I needed and at a good price. Shipping couldn't get any faster. This was my 5th or 6th order from them and it won't be my last. Thank you for quality parts at a good price! 

I cleaned off the caked-on soap on the gasket then removed it. I then centered the new gasket and pushed it into the groove. Done with that part. Then I carefully removed the inner panel and marked the wires how they went in and then unplugged the wires. Then all I had to do was mark the placement of the foam pad and carefully remove it from the bottom and replaced it, plugged the wires back in and replaced the panel back on the door. After that, I shut the door and left it overnight to make sure the seal was good, then ran a load of dishes. Voila, no leaks. 

I installed this new seal after removing the old one and cleaning the channel. The new seal seams to fit perfectly. Unfortunately, though the leak has diminished, it is still present, so I've got to find out where else it may be leaking from. I do not blame the new seal. 

Replaced the door seal and no more leaks. 

Ordered and replaced door gasket

Installed new door gasket and middle basket. 

A new door seal was applied and worked like a charm it took 5 minutes to install. 

Replaced the tub gasket. No more leak!
