How to Troubleshoot & Replace Whirlpool AP6005849 / WP215447 Sleeve

Took off front and cover, saw where it was leaking and ordered parts. simple repair. 

The most difficult thing to do was to open the washer to determine where the leak was coming from. Luckily for me... I remembered how to remove the front panel from my job as an Appliance Salesman ( 20 years ago). I had no clue what parts to order and where to get the parts from. Goggle to the rescue!! I spoke to a sales rep who guided me and helped me downloaded the schematics and identified the parts to be replaced. Got the parts (substitute ) in 4 days and replaced the parts in less than 10 mins. The machine is good as NEW!! 

Removed the old parts and replaced them with the new ones from AppliancePartsPros. NO MORE LEAKS! 

Exposed the inside of the washer, turned it on and located the leakage. The incoming hose under the top cover of the washer was spouting water. The defective part was an aerator. I called Appliance Parts Pros and discussed. Used my cell phone to send a picture of the part. My contact at Appliance Parts identified the part and made arrangements to send a replacement part which I received in 2 days. Replaced the part and back in business. 

New piston and piston sleeve, took about 5 min, working great, like your site, great parts diagrams, easy to read, great service, and delivery, I will remember next time I need parts I will recommend your company Thanks, 

Remove front panel and top lid. Injector valve was located to the left. I changed the injector valve, sleeve, nozzle and hose clamps. 

Diagnosed the problem. Ordered the parts, Installed the new parts. 

I replaced an Injector Valve and Sleeve. 

I found the right parts from your website and easily replaced them. It was not hard at all. 

Replaced it.
