How to Troubleshoot & Replace Whirlpool AP6018004 / WPW10257203 Door Closure Cam

We replaced the Door Closure Cam and Hinge. 

I looked up why the door was not staying shut. I watched a Youtube video and found it was an easy repair and a few dollars in parts from AppliancePartsPros.com. I had previously bought parts from here, are reasonably priced, and they come in quick. I changed the door parts in 1/2 an hour and it was working great. Saved me from buying a new refrigerator. Go for the express shipping. For my purchase it was a dollar cheaper than standard. 

My Whirlpool refrigerator model GSS26C4XXF03 door wouldn’t swing shut all the way like it used to. So I changed the two lower cams. This cam #WPW10257203 was a perfect match but I needed to change the matching cam on the hinge, also, which require some modification to fit (I ordered cam #W11311687). The whole thing would have taken less than 15 minutes if I didn’t have to modify the other cam. 

Ordered replacement part and installed
