How to Troubleshoot & Replace Whirlpool AP4093621 / 74004053 Top Burner Spark Igniter

Poked around on the stove... Bad igniters I thought. Looked for model number... looked for AppliancePartsPros.com on google and clicked. Plugged in model number and looked at handy onscreen diagram to identify parts. Ordered parts. Five days later, parts showed up at my door. Five minutes of work... Both Stoves back in Action. Couldn't be simpler! 

It took less than 5 minutes to fix. Removed the electric wire plug then removed 2 Philips head screws took out the out igniter and replaced with the new one. Turned it back on and it worked. 

I took back of console off & found -plastic mount broken but no burn spots on curcuit board, not knowing what code was, I chatted with Nathans on appliance parts pros website, & he told me stove had gone into Sabbath mode & to hold clock button for 3 seconds, which worked, I repaired bracket & ordered 2 igniters on a Fri. from appliance parts pros & had them on Monday. stove is like again 

Replaced burner ignitors. Didn't fix the problem. Then replaced the ignitor module, problem resolved. 

Watched youtube video, ordered the parts from AppliancePartsPro, 15 minutes later the stove was fixed. 

The spark igniter had a small crack in the ceramic insulator and the spark would ground out to the stove top. I ordered a new spark igniter and it took about 5 minutes to replace it. The burner now lights every time. The only problem was making sure I purchased the correct igniter. Pictures are not very clear on the website. 

Ordered new igniters, installed them and all is well.
