I ordered the regulator-valve assembly that matched my Maytag gas stove. I could read the part number on the regulator and it match the one on my stove. I called the gas technician and had him look online at the part. He said it should work so I ordered it.
A few days later the technician came to install it and it fit perfectly and there were no leaks.
One improvement was that the new regulator had a small toggle switch that replaced the large clunky switch and pushrod that was fastened to the back of the stove.
Thanks for supplying exactly the part I needed and at half the cost that the gas company was going to charge.
