How to Troubleshoot & Replace Whirlpool AP6010047 / WP61005273 Water Inlet Valve (Refrigerator)

Took off old one and replaced with new one and now we have ice again 

I decided the water valve was leaking. Bought a valve from you, replaced the valve, now it works!

I ordered the part and received it the next day. Using YouTube videos and studying the existing connection I was able to remove the existing part and plug the new part back in. Then I hooked up the water supply to the refrigerator and the line to the icemaker. I watched it a couple of hours for leaks and then moved the refrigerator back. 

I replace the Water Fill Valve for the Ice Maker. 

Ordered valve, installed in minutes and checked later worked good.

I fixed the problem by buying this new Water Valve Assembly and installing it. Installation was easy. Watch the Installation Video - especially the part about how to disconnect the outlet plastic tubing from the old water valve - that was invaluable.
