How to Troubleshoot & Replace Whirlpool AP6023768 / WPW10683603 Water Inlet Valve

Replaced intake apparatus 

Unscrewed the back,popped the control section...1-2-3..Easy as pie. It also must be noted that Customer service rep advised me where I can see specific video of how to do idt. 

Replaced the intake valve purchased from applianceparts. 

Install new valve assy.

Purchased the part and replaced it in less than 30 minutes 

I found the correct part right away and ordered it. It arrived quicker than I expected. Twenty minutes later (that's including the time it took to gather the tops!) the job was completed and the washer was running! I used Channel lock pliers for the hose remove/replace, a 1/4" nut driver and a plastic spatula to release the clips holding the top on.
