After reviewing your website for possible causes, and disassemble procedures, I disassembled the dryer unit. I found a lot of dirt but, also found a bad guide wheel that support the drum, the bearing in on the motor unit were leaking oil, and the blower wheel D shaft was worn out of shape causing the wheel to hit the housing. Also the original belt had air checking cracks which made sense to replace it. I decided to replace the thermostat per your website recommendation for solving over- heating. The felt seal on the front of the drum was damaged so I included a replacement in my order and installed a new seal.
After receiving all of the necessary parts I performed the reassembly of the unit. After installing all of the parts I did a trial run and the belt jumped off the motor axle. After some fun reinstalling the belt properly I test ran the unit. Whoa it sounds like new. Oh but then a slight rattle noise started, I suspect because I did not replace the new drum roller axle that I purchased for the new drum roller. The noise seems to have decreased after multiple cycles, but I plan on disassembling the unit and installing the part. Over all the dryer is working like new, including the over heating issue seems to be solved too.
Thank you for the great source of parts and installation videos. In the past I have also repaired my neptune washing machine multiple times using parts from AppliancePartsPro.com
