How to Troubleshoot & Replace Whirlpool AP6010750 / WP717273 Rubber Washer

I followed the instructions in the video posted with this product 

Clean light was flashing. Went on line to find error code and determined I needed a heater element. Also found a video for replacing the element, and it looked pretty easy. Ordered the part online, and it came the next day. The repair took about an hour. One trick is you have to reset the error code after the repair. That was not straightforward, but found documentation under the dishwasher. 

Replaced heating element. 

After watching your video replacing the element was a snap. 

I watched the video in the link with the part that I ordered. I was initially dismayed that I would have to pull the dishwasher out to fix it. But, it all looked so easy. I did the repair in about 30 minutes, could have used a better wrench. Pretty sure I fixed it correctly, I have run the dishwasher twice and it appears everything is working correctly. 

Replaced heating element and washers. 

Replacement heater element installed exactly as described in the AppliancePartsPros video. 

Ordered new nuts for the heating element and replaced old ones. 

Heating element failed. Replaced heating element, reset dishwasher circuit. We now have clean dishes. 

The heating element was bad and was causing the fuse to blow. Watched videos on site to see how to replace the items that I purchased. Videos were very instructive and allowed me to do the install easily!
