How to Troubleshoot & Replace Whirlpool AP4043265 / 33001790 Blower Wheel

Watched your videos, ordered the parts and did the repairs. 

I replaced the blower cage. The replacement parts from Appliancepartspros was an exact match. 

Replaced the blower wheel. 

Apparently the retaining clip failed and the wheel was working its way off the shaft. With the right parts it was an easy fix and with quick shipping it was as painless as possible. 

I ordered the new blower wheel, and installed it. The repair took 30 minutes from start to finish. 

I replaced the burner assembly. Also noticed a loud vibration. Found the hub worn and loose on the blower wheel. Awhile back the gas valve solenoid coils were not always opening the valve, so I ordered them too.

After researching what new dryers cost, I decided to have a go at fixing my old one. This is the third time I have ordered from Appliance Parts Pro and I have no plans to order from anyone else. When I got the dryer opened up, I could easily tell that the blower wheel was cracked almost in half. I also decided to check the drum support rollers after watching some online videos. One of these rollers could barely be turned by hand. Even-though the other appeared fine, I ordered two. Then just to cover all my bases I ordered a dryer drum belt. Appliance Parts Pro’s delivery is always fast, I had my parts in just a few days. The parts were all installed the next day, and I tested it out by drying four loads. The dryer is operating just as it should, and doing so very quietly. I am one happy diy customer.
