How to Troubleshoot & Replace Whirlpool AP6012318 / WP8270019 Upper Dishrack Roller

Removed the top and bottom racks, then side plugs to remove side brace screws. Removed the bottom cover and insulation to raise the height adjusters. Then pulled the dishwasher out far enough to access the hex head screws holding the Mount Assembly on. I used the old gaskets after cleaning them and the slot for the part, then attached the new Mount Assembly, tightened it and replaced slide arms, racks, and tested the top rack for movement. Removing the slide arms was a little tricky and getting them to snap back in correctly. After sliding the dishwasher back in I readjusted the height adjusters, made sure the dishwasher door opened and closed then replaced the side brace screws (a little challenging), insulation and bottom cover after cleaning. Final step was to check for leaks. 

Bought a whole new set of roller wheels (4 in all) and just did a replacement. 

Received new wheels and looked on YouTube. Easy fix 

We replaced the Tub Wheels. 

Found a great extensive list of available parts for our dishwasher model on the website. Reference to videos made the repair steps very clear and easy to follow. 

A very wonderful person at AppliancePartPros helped me to choose the correct roller replacement (I had chosen the wrong part). Then another wonderful person at AppliancePartPros made sure I got my shipment from FedEx. It was easy to replace the rollers. I just watched the video on their website. Spending a small amount on the replacement rollers saved me from buying a new dishwasher! 

Followed the video on appliancepartspros.com. Pulled the dishwasher out from the cabinet, unscrewed the bolts holding the tub wheel on from the outside, swapped the gaskets to the new part from the old and reassembled. Dead simple! 

I removed the dishwasher and replaced the rollers using a nut driver. 

My son fixed the issue of some wear and tear.
