Loney C Canton , GA October 13, 2014 Appliance: Model LG-LSC27926ST 1) front water and ice did not 2) ice buildup in the freezer The ice buildup in the freezer was cased by a detached temperature probe normally affixed to the bottom of the ice tray. Tabes on the ice trace had broken off. Replaced the ice tray and attached the temperature sensor. The ice buildup likely caused the short in the solenoid. Replace the shorted solenoid. The shorted solenoid burned off a couple traces on the motherboard.
