Noticed the hardwood floor warping in front of dw. Pulled bottom panel and saw a water leaking at the center of the unit. Although I could have likely just replaced one part, it looked like an effort to disassemble the pump unit, so elected to replace the entire pump unit. It was pretty easy to change out. I disconnected the power since it was hardwired and then the supply water after turning off the valve below the sink. The drain line was attached with a clamp. I used Channellock pliers for that clamp and the one on the drain pump. You will be reusing the drain pump as the kit includes the circulation pump only. There are a number of wiring connections with bayonet plugs. Recommend you snap a photo before you start removing parts to be sure it clear how to reassemble. I used a standard 4-in-one screwdriver which gave me the necessary nut driver as well as a screwdriver for pulling the unit from under the counter. I’m glad I replaced the entire pump assembly as it saved a ton of time. Appliance PartsPros had a great video showing the replacement. It probably took only about 30 min, but I do have a maintenance background.
